Sturgeon are the largest fresh water fish in North America. These prehistoric fish are hard fighting, acrobatic river monsters. We target these fish on the California Delta during the fall and winter months.

Make sure that you bring along food, drinks, sunglasses and sunscreen, a light jacket and hat, and don’t forget cameras and coolers for your catch. Dramamine or other motion sickness medication should be taken the night before your trip and again in the morning when you wake.
The Frenzy leaves the dock between 5:30 and 6:00 AM and returns by 5:00 PM.
US Coast Guard regulations only allow six passengers on board whether they are fishing or not.

The Oregon Inlet Fishing Center provides a fish cleaning service for our charter clients. Vacuum packaging and shipping of your catch is available on request.
Our mates work hard to ensure that you have a good day. The customary tip is generally 15-20% of the charter fee.
The Fishin’ Frenzy is docked on the West side of the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, just look for the red boat in front of the ship’s store. The Fishing Center is located 8 miles South of Whalebone Junction on NC 12 at the North end of the Oregon Inlet Bridge.
